Government extends connection voucher scheme to March 2016

Jola, the business communications supplier, is helping their Partners not only to win connectivity and hosted telephony deals but also to claim up to £3000 to fund the cost as part of the Government’s Broadband Connection Voucher’s Scheme.
Nearly 90% of leased lines these days are sold on 36-month contracts with zero set-up charges and this has made some dealers, resellers and end customers unsure as to how they can benefit from the scheme. Also some are a little daunted by the thought of the paperwork and time it could take to go through the process. Jola has a solution.

Andrew Dickinson MD Jola: “Jola is an accredited supplier on the Connection Voucher scheme and we have talked to the Government about how we can help them achieve their goals. As long as the end user is in a qualifying area and meets the basic eligibility criteria for the scheme I am confident we can apply for a voucher regardless of the contract term or published set-up fee. Although the end customer has to physically apply for the voucher, we do all the work for them, and their dealer. Approval times vary but none are really onerous and the incentive of taking £3000 off the total cost of a service should be incentive enough to go through the process and upgrade from broadband.”

With so many organisations moving to hosted voice and the cloud there has never been a better time to persuade customers to upgrade their connection to the Internet.
